Name: Paul Luz

Project Name:Implications of the Duro High House Reformation

Requested Amount: 4M credits, for the purpose of a ship and living expenses as I visit Duro.

Project Deadline: negotiable, but I aim to be done as soon as possible, being very excited for the undertaking.

Details of Project: The DHH is an ancient government that saved the planet from corruption, and helped found the Galactic Republic. It was lost to time and war until very recently when it was reformed. I will study its reformation, how it views its function during the diaspora, and what it could mean as a model of races reclaiming their heritage. Hopefully this serves as a jumping off point for studies of other cultures.

Reasons for Undertaking: To better understand the modern uses and interpretations of ancient heritage in the modern, pluralistic Galaxy.

Benefit to the Guild: This would serve as both model and inspiration for similar projects, and would preserve endangered pieces of history and heritage of a race almost unparalleled in contribution to the civilized galaxy.

With this put forward, I humbly request financial assistance for my study.

Good evening Paul,

I thank you for your request. I do believe this would be of interest to the guild and I believe, dependent on the quality of the work, 4m is a fair funding amount. As this is a first time submission, I am happy to give the full funding following submission of the work. Half of this inadvance should be sufficient for living requirement.

In terms of dead line, taking into account the travel, I think 28 Days should be sufficient.

If you are happy with these terms, I will open a Project thread in the culture forum.

I await your confirmation.

That seems very much in order, and I thank the Guild and yourself for the support and consideration. I have just hired a translator and have been in contact with several key members of the House, pending my actual arrival to the colonies. Would the Guild prefer the work in serial, or as one finished product?
